Hyatt House Johannesburg Rosebank

I really liked the staff friendliness and politeness. The hotel is very close to Rosebank Mall—a minute's walk—but walking 5 minutes away from the mall to the hotel in any part of South Africa is as bad as walking alone in Johannesburg CBD in the middle of the night with an iPhone in your hand, feels really risky I liked the water fountain adjacent to the restaurant.

My stay at Hyatt House Rosebank was exceptional. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The staff were brilliant, incredibly friendly, professional, helpful, and always happy, regardless of the shift. Special requests for a crib and adjacent rooms were accommodated perfectly, making our stay even more comfortable. The ladies at the restaurant/dining area were amazing, helping with my 7-month-old baby and keeping him busy as we ate, which my wife and I will forever appreciate. The breakfast was delightful with a wide variety of options to choose from. Everything was fresh, and the quality of food was excellent. The service during breakfast was also top-notch, and the food on the a la carte menu was excellent. The smell of the lobby speaks luxury and class! The location was perfect and safe, providing easy access to various attractions and amenities, with plenty of parking space and convenience for Ubers with a pram/car seat. The friendly staff, especially Mr. Blessings at the front desk, made us feel at home even though we were far from home. This was my second stay at the Hyatt House, the first for work and this time for a family holiday. The rooms were clean and spacious, with the air conditioning keeping the room warm during the cold season (July). The TV channel selection was great for the days we decided to sit in, and the Wi-Fi worked well at all times, regardless of which part of the hotel we were at. I highly recommend Hyatt House Rosebank to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Johannesburg.

The location is great and accessible. I enjoyed the halaal restaurant. I found the little kiosk absolutely handy and so convenient. The staff were very responsive, both at reception and in the restaurant.

1) Breakfast was good. 2) The location is in a reasonable walk from Rosebank Train station and the market. 3) The staff were helpful. 4) The in-room kitchen facilities (fridge, microwave, etc.) were really useful.

Good rooms with a reasonably furnished mini kitchen. The rooms looked very modern. Loved the addition of a muslim prayer room and qibla signals in the room ceiling. The breakfast selection was good. A very well stocked mini store on the ground floor with cheap prices (by hotel standards). The gym was lacking a bit of equipment but overall a really good one for a hotel.
